Why Shop our pre-loved clothing?
In New Zealand alone, over 180,000 tonnes of clothing and textile waste ends up in landfill each year, with an alarming majority of it being made up of synthetic fabrics. Help contribute to the circular, slow fashion revolution and shop our pre-loved Flocking Good LFOH collection at an affordable price- prolonging the life of the garment and helping to reduce the amount of waste that goes to landfill. Shop by size and find quality pieces which have been carefully curated into mystery bundles that we think will give you the most bang for your buck. Our strict quality control means each pre-loved piece will be up to the standard you would expect to pay for at a fair price.

Why trade-in your pre-loved LFOH gear?

From your Flock to another Flock. Each LFOH piece is made with love from quality 100% Merino wool, which is 100% biodegradable and the most durable and recycled fibre on the planet. We are confident that our garments will stand the test of time, crafted with the hope that each piece will be cherished by many siblings, families and friends. We know kids grow faster than weeds! It seems like they grow out of clothes faster than it takes to pack away the last set of clothes they had just outgrown. If you find you are ready to part with your LFOH clothes, drop us a line. Help contribute to the circular, slow fashion revolution and give your pre-loved Little Flock of Horrors pieces another lease of life in a new home- prolonging the life of the garment and helping to reduce the amount of waste that goes to landfill. Our Flocking Good initiative hopes to provide a fuss-free way of trading in your pre-loved pieces in exchange for on-line store credit, and also provides an opportunity for another family to purchase some cosy pre-loved LFOH clothes at an affordable price.

What can I send back?

You are welcome to send back any LFOH clothing (from across the range, from any season), as long as they meet our trade-in eligibility requirements.

I want to trade- in. What are the Flocking Good eligibility requirements?

With all good intentions, please only send in your pre-loved garments which are in gently used or new condition. We don't want to receive your items in a below-par standard covered in half-eaten banana, mud pie stains or holes and rips etc. You get the idea!  Items must: 
 - be clean and in new or good condition suitable for re-sell
 - Not have any rips, stains or pulls 
 - Have no significnat wash fade, thin patches or bobbling - Have functioning zips and domes 
 - From a smoke-free home

Where and how do I trade in?
Submit your trade-in via our online form. Pop your clothing into a courier bag (with your contact details inside) and send to us at: Lucy Frost c/o LFOH PO Box 72-530 Papakura 2110
How long will it take to get my credit?
Please bear in mind we are a small family-run team. Upon receipt of your package, we will aim to process your credit with a 2 week time-frame. Online store credit will be sent to the email you provided in your trade-in form.
Where can I spend my online-store credit and how do I redeem?
Your store credit will be sent to you in an email you have provided to us in your online trade-in form.
 It will be in the form of online voucher codes which you can redeem at checkout.
Only one voucher may be used per transaction.
 Voucher may not be used in conjunction with any other offers.
 The online credit will be available to use sitewide across the Little Flock of Horrors website www.littleflockofhorrors.com
How much online store credit can I expect?
Once your items have been received, inspected and accepted* at our end, you will receive a confirmation email with your online store credit.

 Based on the below you will receive up to** the below value per item:

 * Items have been accepted by us according to our trade-in eligibility requirements

 ** Our aim is to extend the product life cycle of our garments where possible giving it a second chance in another home. If an item has been accepted, but has had a harder life in comparison to other accepted pre-loved items, store credit may be lower.

Judgement on condition of clothing is at the sole discretion of the LFOH team.
What happens if my item isn't accepted?
Any items that aren't fit for resale and don't meet our eligibility requirements will not be sent back to you and will be recycled or donated to a charity on your behalf.
Can I purchase other pre-loved LFOH items with my store credit?
Yes, you can spend your credit storewide across the Little Flock of Horrors website www.littleflockofhorrors.com only. This includes our pre-loved collection.
Can I trade-in LFOH items which I originally purchased through the pre-loved collection?
As long as it meets the trade-in eligibility requirements, you are more than welcome to trade in.
What if I'm not happy with the credit I receive?
Please review our eligibility criteria first and contact us if you have any questions before sending. We aim to be as transparent as possible, with the intention of providing a second-hand collection for all of our LFOH community to enjoy- quality pre-loved garments at a fair price. Please take into consideration other families who will be purchasing your pre-loved gear and ask yourself if you would be willing to pay for your item you send in. If your item does not meet our criteria, you will not receive a store credit (or you may receive a credit lower than expected), and it will not be returned to sender.
Can I return pre-loved items?
Please refer to our returns policy. Pre-loved items are a final sale. We cannot accept returns on worn, washed, clearance, pre-loved, market, baby expo or final sale items.
Can I send back items I purcahsed at a LFOH stockist?
We accept LFOH items no matter where they have been purchased from, as long as they meet our Flocking Good eligibility criteria.
What can I do with my LFOH clothes if they don't meet the Flocking Good eligibility to send in?
There are lots of options you could consider in helping to extend the life of your fave LFOH pieces:
 - Donate to your local charity shop or to a families-in-need community program
 - Pass on to a family or friend - Pop into a local kindy or daycare clothing box
 - Repair or repurpose- fix zips, mend holes or get crafty sewing badges or patches to cover stubborn stains
